Artist's Comments
This is a little illustration about HDR.
I am starting to use HDR imagery in situations which I wouldn't have initial thought of. Here I intend to highlight my results. The shots on the left are from a single shot using a tripod, taken in RAW, then converted to JPEG using ACR. The shots on the right are from the same position on the same tripod with the same camera. Each one on the right is a HDR render of 5 individual shots taken at -2, -1, 0, +1 and +2 bracket compensations. They were merged in CS2 and tonal mapped with the Photomatix plugin then saved as JPEGs. Which do you think is best? The 'normal' shots on the left or the HDRs on the right? Comments
The HDR shots seem to 'glow' more
-- Feel free to wander through my Gallery Indeed, I also think you have more detail in the veins of the petals and the velvet-ness too.
